Falconets coach Peter Dedevbo is expected to change his starting lineup for Wednesday’s Papua New Guinea 2016 FIFA Women’s Under-20 World Cup clash against Canada in Port Moresby.
Nigeria succumbed to a 6-0 defeat by  Japan in their first game in the tournament on Sunday to make today’s fixture against Canada a must-win for them.Sweden-based goalkeeper, Christy Ohiaeriaku, is expected to replace Sandra Chiichii in goal, while Ihuoma Onyebuchi, who came in for Patience Kalu against Japan, gets a starting role. Joy Bokiri, who sat out the opening match, is expected to start against Canada. However, Ugochi Emenayo, Chinwendu Ihezuo, Yetunde Adeboyejo and Chinaza Uchendu will retain their starting places in the team. Dedevbo told the Nigeria Football Federation’s official website, “The focus right now is on how to pick up full points against Canada. The lineup against Canada will change and most of the mistakes we made in the first game have been corrected. I remain optimistic that we will do a good job.”
