The Confederation of African Football (CAF), has cleared Sierra Leone to host international soccer matches after being declared free of the ebola virus in November.CAF made this known in a statement which maintains that, “International football matches and CAF competitions can again be organised in the West African country.”It would be recalled that Sierra Leone had been banned since August 2014 from hosting international soccer matches on the basis of the recommendation of the World Health Organization (WHO), that football matches should be suspended in countries affected by the ebola virus epidemic.
