NDDC MD, Directors Sacked

The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN), has approved the immediate sack of the Managing Director (MD), the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Bassey Dan-Abia.Also fired are the two Executive Directors of Finance and Projects.According to a statement from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), an acting Managing Director in the person of the immediate past Rivers State Information Commissioner, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, has also been approved.She is to resume with immediate effect pending the appointment of a substantive board.
