Naismith to Join Norwich in £8.5m Move from Everton

Everton attacker Steven Naismith, is set to undergo a medical at Norwich ahead of a potential £8.5m move. Should the 29-year-old pass the medical, then the deal could be announced as early as Monday. Alex Neil, the Canaries manager when quizzed about the deal after the weekend’s defeat to Bournemouth said it had been close for “the best part of two weeks”. He noted that there has been a lot of talk about it, but until things are complete and over the line there is not much to say. It would be recalled that Norwich showed keen interest in December during the summer. Everton boss Roberto Martinez admitted last week that Naismith was one of three players set to leave Goodison Park along with Aiden McGeady and Darron Gibson.
