PDP Fires Acting Chairman

Nigeria’s opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Wednesday sacked its Acting National-Chairman, Haliru Bello Mohammed. It subsequently announced the party’s Secretary, Walid Jubrin, as the acting Â Chairman, pending the conduct of another election to pick a substantive chairman.
