Arik Air Passenger Dies on Board Flight

A female passenger on board an Arik Air flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos died before the flight arrived in Lagos.She was confirmed dead on arrival at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Domestic Terminal 1, Ikeja by medical personnel. The deceased was reported to have been in the company of her husband and cousin. The cause of her death was yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report. Confirming the incident, Communications Manager, Adebanji Ola, in a statement said, “A female passenger on board Arik Air’s Port Harcourt-Lagos flight was confirmed dead on arrival this morning (yesterday) by medical personnel at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Domestic Terminal 1, Ikeja, Lagos. “The lady boarded the flight from Port Harcourt in the company of her husband and cousin. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.”
