N5.1bn Fraud: Jonathan’s Special Assistant, Others Arraigned

The immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan’s Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs, Warpamo Dudafa, was on Wednesday docked before a Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos. He was arraigned on a 23-count charge that touches on alleged fraud to the tune of N5.1 billion. Charged along with him is one Iwejuo Joseph Nna who is also known as Taiwo Ebenezer and Olugbenga Isaiah. They all pleaded not guilty to the charge and were subsequently ordered to be remanded in prison custody pending the hearing of their bail applications by the court. Specifically, the defendants were brought to the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
