A member of the NaÂtional Working ComÂmittee of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed the alÂlegations of sharp practices by party’s National Leader, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola TiÂnubu, against the National Chairman, Chief John OdÂigie-Oyegun, insisting that Tinubu was misinformed by his errand men.
The former governor of Lagos State had called on the APC National Chairman to resign, alleging that he colÂlected bribe and comproÂmised in the party’s decision on the Ondo governorship primary election.Tinubu had insisted in a statement issued on Monday by his Media Office that OyeÂgun overruled the majority vote of the NWC which was favorably disposed to the cancelation of the ”˜flawed’ Ondo primary.“The NWC voted six against five to cancel the fraudulent results and hold an honest primary. For a moÂment, it seemed the party would restore its integrity by giving democracy a chance. However, those who sought to scam an entire state would not let the vote of 11 people spoil their enterprise. Discover more from NewsBreakers
