Adeniran ready to lead PDP with integrity

A former Minister of Education, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, says he will lead the Peoples Democratic Party with integrity if he emerges as the national chairman of the opposition.Adeniran, who is eyeing the position of the national chairman of the party, said he was going to reinvent and reposition the PDP if he emerged as the party’s national chairman.A statement by his campaign manager, Taiwo Akeju, on Monday, quoted Adeniran as calling on PDP members to vote for capable hands during the party’s oncoming national convention scheduled to hold on August 17, 2015, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.The statement said, “We believe that the South-West and, indeed, the entire country must come together at this critical period of our national development. Professor Adeniran has been drafted into the race by the leaders of the party and stakeholders across the various zones of the country“Adeniran possesses the required experience, integrity and immense capacity to lead the party at this critical period. He is going to reinvent and reposition the party towards 2019. He will unite the party and build its capacity.”
