AIR-STRIKES RESUME IN ALEPPO AFTER WEEKS OF CEASEFIRE

Air strikes have resumed on the divided rebel and government held city of Aleppo after a text message warning civilians to flee the city on Sunday.Fighter jets and helicopters were reportedly dropping bombs on what has been described as “terrorist strongholds” against rebel-held neighbourhoods killing at least one person. The bombardment resumed after over 2 weeks of ceasefire announced by the Russian Defence Ministry.Residents of Haydariyeh and Masken Hanano witnessed the fiercest explosives and barrel bombs being dropped on their communities as the fighting picks up after some days of reduced bombing. Neighbouring districts of Sheikh Faris, Al-Salehin, Qadir Askar and Al-Qaterji were also hit with explosive parachute bombs. Fighter jets have also been spotted in the air preparing for battle in President Al-assad’s bid to extinguish the terror group.Eastern Aleppo, a once commercial city in Syria has been reduced to rubbles being the hardest hit in the 5-year long Syrian war.Explosives directed toward the rebel-held area injured a couple of patients and medics, rescue workers say.Conflicting reports claim that three people have been killed and five others injured following the resumption of air strikes on Tuesday.Report indicates that rescue workers and doctors are being targeted by the Russian and Syrian governmentThe coalition of the Syrian and Russian government have been strongly condemned for acts violating human rights and purposely directing airstrikes and explosives to Hospitals  and schools in the rebel-held part of Aleppo. The duo have consistently denied such acts claiming some rebels are attempting to flee the city in disguise.The conflict in Eastern Aleppo resumed Tuesday due to a re-launch of an assault by the rebels whom the Syrian government labelled “terrorists”
