Aleppo Crisis: Heavy Bombardments Kill Children

Over 20 people including children have been killed in Al-sakari in the battle for Aleppo. Reports reaching us have it that schools, hospitals and banks have been a target of a Russian airstrikes and parachute bombs since it resumed attacks on Eastern Aleppo. Activists group, Aleppo Media Centre confirmed the attack on Hospitals and abandoned schools, killing an estimated 50 people. Dr. Hatem, Diector for Children’s Hospital, that have been under attack said “A horrible day for the children’s Hospital , Me and my staff and all the patients are sitting in one room in the basement right now, trying to protect our patients”¦.Pray for us please.” Children from neighbouring villages still hugging their school bags were seen fleeing from the scene of battle. Fighter jets still hung above the sky and heavy artillery shells were seen on the ground below indicating the beginning of the war. Today marks the second day of bombardment after the warning text message on Sunday asking civilians, the sick and wounded to leave.
