Arms Deal: Metuh Faces 7-Count Charge

Barring any last minute charge, detained National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, may today be arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja. Metuh is to be docked on a 7-count charge of breach of public trust, corrupt acquisition of public funds and money laundering. Metuh has been in the custody of the EFCC over allegations that he received a sum of N400 million from the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA).
