Australian Open: Djokovic Beats Federer to Reach Final

World Number 1 Tennis star, Novak Djokovic, produced a powerful performance to beat Roger Federer in the semi-finals of the Australian Open and reach his fifth Grand Slam final in a row. The meeting, the 45th, between two of the sport’s greatest champions lived up to its billing as it proved to be another classic encounter and Djokovic produced one of his finest ever performances in a 6-1 6-2 3-6 6-3 win in Melbourne. Djokovic seemed a class above his long-term rival while compiling two sets in just 54 minutes, but a determined Federer hauled back the third set before the world No 1 ended his resistance in a thrilling fourth.
