Bayelsa Guber Poll: Armed Youths on Rampage, Hold INEC Officials Hostage

It has emerged that armed youths have held hostage some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), alongside the electoral materials for Saturday’s (today) poll, at coastal Oporoma, the headquarters of Southern Ijaw local government area of Bayelsa State, sporadicallyReports indicate that no fewer than 30 militants are already providing answers to security operatives.The police has recovered electoral materials earlier reported to have been snatched at Ward 6, Sagbama local government area of the state.
