Laurent Blanc is expected to commit his future to Paris Saint-Germain by signing a new contract within the next month.
The 50-year-old took over the rein at PSG in 2013 after former Head Coach Carlo Ancelotti left the club for Real Madrid, but the Ligue 1 champions have been linked with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola who is leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
However, Blanc, who is in the final months of his current deal, is keen to stay on at the Parc des Princes and believes he will sign a new deal soon.
“I hope I can sign a new contract before the Chelsea game on February 16,” Blanc said after his side beat Toulouse 2-1 in the Coupe de France on Tuesday.
“My agent will meet the club soon and they will have to reach an agreement.
“If they can’t, we’ll see after.”
PSG hold a 21-point advantage over second place Monaco and are unbeaten in Ligue 1 this season.
