President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, visited the Makhio Internal Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Yola, Adamawa State, where he promised those affected by the Boko Haram menace that the Federal Government is working assiduously to end plight.He also assured the displaced persons that the Boko Haram menace will soon be a thing of the past. The President promised that the displaced people would soon have cause to smile and return to their respective home.He said: “My government is doing everything possible to rebuild your homes, schools hospitals and roads to enable you go back to your homes. Boko Haram will soon be a thing of the past.”“I know that most of you are farmers and your farm land have been destroyed but let me assure you that you will soon go back and continue in your farming.”President Buhari promised the Adamawa State governor, Umaru Jibrilla, that the Federal government would soon provide assistance to the state.
