The late Prince Abubakar Audu who was the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State in Saturday’s election has been replaced with his son by the leader of the party in Kogi East Senatorial District.Mr Mohammed Audu, 43, the first son of the late politician, Prince Abubakar Audu, got the nod of the leaders, stakeholders and delegates of the Senatorial District in Lokoja on Thursday after “after due consultations.”The Vice Chairman of the APC in Kogi East Senatorial, Mr. Daniel Isah, who spoke on behalf of the leaders of the zone, declared that they have agreed to nominate Mohammed Audu to replace his father in the coming fresh primary election.Mr. Isah called on his party leadership to consider the decision taken in the interest of the state and the party.
