(BREAKING) Kogi Guber Poll: Audu Emerges Winner

Sequel to the collation by the Kogi State Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), of the governorship election which took place on Saturday November 21, 2015 in the state, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abubakar Audu has emerged winner.He won current governor of the state, Idris Wada in all the Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state. The LGAs are, Adabi,Ajaokuta,Ankpa,Bassa,Dekina,Ibaji,Idah,Igalamela-Odolu,Ijumu,Kabba/Bunu,Koton Karfe,Lokoja,Mopa-muro,Ofu,Ogori/Magongo,Okehi,Okene,Olamaboro.Omala,Yagba East, Yagba West.In totality, Audu polled 240, 867 to defeat his counterpart from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who had 199, 514 votes out of the 21 Local Government Areas in the state.
