(Breaking): Supreme Court Affirms Wike’s Election

The Supreme Court of Nigeria, has affirmed the election of Nyesom Wike as the governor of Rivers State. By this ruling, the verdict from the Tribunal and the Court of Appeal, which had earlier nullified the election of the governor has been set aside. The Supreme Court’s reasoning, in arriving at the judgement will be made available on February 12, 2016.
