Confusion in Kogi as Audu is Buried

The mood of the supporters of the late gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Kogi State, Price Abubarkar Audu, were constantly swinging throughout Monday morning as rumours filtered in that the gubernatorial candidate has risen from the dead.Jubilant crowds were seen by newsmen on the street of Lokoja when the rumours got to town.However, in his hometown of Ogbonicha, sympathisers and supporters were spotted weeping profusely; even as security deployed at Audu’s compound ahead of burial had a tough time controlling some supporters who are insisting that the former governor is still alive.Around 1:50PM, the remains of Audu was buried amid tears from sympathisers and family members.Dignitaries at the burial are: His running mate, Hon. Abiodun Faleke, Sen. Dino Melaye, former governors George Akume, Abdulkadir Kure, Lucky Igbinidion and Rabiu Kwankwaso, Saminu Turaki and other APC leaders.
