Don Etiebet is Dead; To Be Buried December 11

Elder statesman and the former Governor of the old Cross River State, Chief Donald Etiebet is dead.He died at the age of 85.According to a statement released by the Akwa Ibom State government, the burial of the elder statesman has been fixed for December 11, 2015.Born in Ikot-Ekpene in Akwa Ibom State, Chief Etiebet was a senator during the Nigerian Second Republic between 1979 and 1983.When Nigeria returned to democratic rule in 1999, Chief Etiebet joined the United Nigeria People’s Party (UNPP), which later merged with the All People’s Party (APP).
