The report entitled ”˜Building a sustainable future’ is the first of its kind in the nation’s power sector, highlighting the current power status of the company since its privatization in 2013, its core values and roadmap for future plans.Speaking on the report, Egbin Chairman said he was pleased to reveal the first sustainability report and reiterated the company’s quest to present sustained outstanding performance through honesty and transparency.The report was developed using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework and also includes the disclosure on important indicators in areas material to Egbin’s stakeholders including the level and capacity of energy generated, economic performance, workforce diversity, safety report, biodiversity.The report will be shared through hard copy and online versions can be obtained from the company’s website.
