Emirate Suspends Sule Lamido’s Son As District Head

The Dutse emirate in Jigawa on Tuesday suspended Alhaji Mustapha Lamido, the District Head of Bamaina in Birninkudu Local Government, who is also the son of former Gov. Sule Lamido. The letter quoted the Secretary Of The Emirate Council, Alhaji Yunusa Garba, as saying that the suspension was in a response to the State Government’s directive to suspend the District Head because of his ongoing trial in court with Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC). Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abdulkadir Fanini, told newsmen that Lamido’s son was suspended along with the District Head of Kiyawa, Alhaji Aminu Wada, for the same offence.
