Everton Set to Confirm Ronald Koeman as Manager

Everton is set to confirm the appointment of Ronald Koeman as its new manager after agreeing a compensation deal with Southampton. The Merseyside club is expected to release an official announcement later on Wednesday, once the finer details of the Dutchman’s contract have been sorted out. Koeman’s agent Rob Jansen is currently holding talks with Everton’s new majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, Chairman Bill Kenwright and chief executive Robert Elstone. Jansen has already held a meeting with Moshiri on the compensation deal – thought to be worth £5m in the region of Southampton. Two of Koeman’s backroom staff at Southampton ”“ his brother Erwin and Jan Kluitenberg ”“ are anticipated to make the move with the former Feyenoord manager.
