Prince Bola Ajibola, a former judge of the International Court of Justice, Hague commented on the ongoing recession in the economy and urged members of the National Assembly to take steps to address the issue through ongoing constitutional amendment processes.

This was made in his presentation while addressing members of the House of Representatives who were on a three day retreat in Abeokuta. The theme of the presentation was ”˜The Imperative Constitution Review/Amendment in Nation Building’.He assessed that the constitution be amended to contain the present challenges facing the country as the country has never witnessed such current degree of recession and depression.He further stated that many workers had lost their jobs and had no money to indulge in luxury as everyone must work hard to earn his/her living. He also pointed out that the issue of corruption and stealing be addressed and corrected.
