French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius reiterated on Tuesday that France has no plans of sending military interventions to Libya. Fabius stated this while speaking at a meeting of the global coalition against the Islamic State in Rome. Fabius maintained that such scenario is not in their plans, adding that it should be the responsibility of the international community to stabilise the country by supporting efforts to create a national unity government. However, he noted that France would not delay in carrying out “personal sanctions” against Libyan individuals who are blocking government formation talks.
