Lack of water in your body can cause ill effects such as exhaustion, sluggishness and drowsiness. We recommend drinking at least 7 to 9 glasses of water every day. Also, drink fresh juices.
3. Avoid snacking too much: – Snacking often while you are in the office has got nothing to do with your hunger. People mainly snack at the desk because of boredom. Avoid keeping snacks on your desk. Mindlessly munching snacks will not do any good for you. Keeping your desk a food-free zone will actually improve your health and hygiene. Take breaks and breathe fresh air, and skip eating candies. You should consider keeping fresh fruits at your desk instead.
4. Exercise: – One of the most important things to do in order to stay physically healthy is exercising daily. When you are at work, it isn’t possible to actually exercise, so try taking walks. Taking a walk during lunch can be a great idea, not only will you be burning calories but also de-stressing. Finding a walking partner can be a great idea to commit to it. Find someone who will drag you out even if you are too busy.
5. Take breaks: – Most of us just want to finish the work on time and get out of the office, but this does not mean you should sit at your work station for hours continuously. You are probably thinking that taking a break will be a waste of time, but it can actually be productive. If you don’t believe, just give it a try.
6. Avoid Drinking Coffee: – Many of us find it extremely difficult to go through the day without consuming coffee. Caffeine obviously is not a good thing. Studies show that consuming 500-600 mg of caffeine every day can lead to insomnia, irritability, nervousness, etc. Instead of drinking coffee, try having more cups of water.
