I Started Silverbird with N20,000 — Ben Bruce

Ahead of the 35th anniversary of the Silverbird Group, the chairman of the group and Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Ben Murray Bruce, has taken to twitter to reveal that he started the entertainment empire with N20, 000 loan from his father in 1980.He debunked the allegation that he stole while he was the helmsman at the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA). He therefore threw a challenge at anyone with evidence of graft against him to publish it for the world to see.He tweeted: “I founded Silverbird in 1980 with a ₦20, 000 loan from my father and on November 21st we will be celebrating 35 years. Thank you Nigeria!”“Silverbird is evidence you dont need to steal to make it in Nigeria. If anyone has evidence (not innuendo) that I stole, please publish it.”
