Iweala denies rumours of running for 2019 presidential elections

Former Minister of finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has denied rumours circulating that she was running for the 2019 Presidential Elections. She has also distanced herself from the campaign posters of her and former Nigerian Vice president, Atiku Abubakar, which showed up on social media sites.

In a statement by her Media consultant, Mr. Paul C. Nwabuikwu, he said that the former minister of finance has had nothing to do with running for the 2019 presidential elections as she was attending to international duties. He also stated that she neither discussed nor endorsed any campaign posters or activities with anybody.
