Hearing on the case against the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa was on Wednesday frustrated due to the absence of the presiding judge, Justice Ambrose Mammadi of the Yola High Court.It would be recalled that a member representing Mubi South Constituency, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abubakar, had instituted a suit against the Speaker and the State House of Assembly.The lawmaker is questioning both the dissolution of the House Committee on Finance which he headed and his unlawful suspension from the House for three months.As of the time of filing this report, the judge has not returned from Abuja where he is attending the All Judges’ Conference.
