The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has said it will mobilise its members across the country to embark on an industrial action if urgent steps are not taken to address the challenge of unpaid salaries of federal judiciary workers.The Union used the opportunity to call the Accountant-General of the Federation and the Ministry of Finance, to look into the salaries owed to federal judicial workers in the country.Comrade Marwan Mustapha, the National president of JUSUN who spoke with newsmen in Abuja reiterated that government should not take the peaceful nature of the Union for granted. According to him, the Union is running out of patience.He added that judiciary workers in the country will not hesitate to go on strike over the plight of their counterparts at the federal level.He said this action will continue if something urgent is not done to address the reason behind the unpaid salaries.He said: “We are calling on the Accountant-General of the Federation, Budget Office and the Ministry of Finance to do all they can to pay federal judicial workers and judicial officers across the country.”
