Keshi’s Wife Buried in Benin

Former Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, has buried his late wife, Kate, in Benin, the Edo State capital. Kate Keshi battled with cancer for three years before she died on December 9, 2015 in the United States. The funeral was held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Airport Road, Benin and interment at the family residence at Ugiokhuen Quarters in GRA, Benin”Ž. Keshi described his late wife as a unique woman said; the kind of woman every man would love to have. He also took time to express his gratitude to all for their support. His words: “I am honoured for those that took time out of their busy schedules to pay their last respects to my wife. Most of them have been with my wife; they know her and probably that is why they are here. I thank them and every other person, the press, and all Nigerians who were there in prayers with my family. I am grateful.”
