Some students and principals of Lagos State Model College Igbo Nla in Epe town of Lagos were abducted Thursday morning after their school was invaded by some gun-carrying persons believed to be militants.The incident occurred when the students were observing the morning gathering at the assemble point in the school premises.Armed invaders took away the principals of the junior and senior secondary schools, Mr. Oyesola and Mr. Akirinmade. Among those taken away by the armed men are some of the students.Representative of Epe Constituency in the House of Reps, Wale Raji, pleaded with the House to call the attention of the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and his lieutenant in Lagos State to intervene promptly to the incident.A rescue call has also been made to the police by the House members, who put other legislative duties on hold in order to ensure safe return of the students and principals.
