The case of two toddlers molested by their father’s co-workers has been taken up by the Lagos State Government. The children have been relocated to the state’s children home.Lola Akande, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, revealed the children would receive proper rehabilitation and care in their new location.According to reports, the two victims, aged three and five, were staying with their father, Ayodele Ekundayo, who left them in care of five co-workers.The men between the ages of 24 to 33 violated these toddlers, the suspects have been arrested.Mrs Akande said the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation would be responsible for their upkeep and education.She added; “The ministry is working with the NSCDC to ensure that the perpetrators of the crime do not go scot-free and are prosecuted according to the laws of the state.”
