The Lagos state police have arrested a 28 year old man, Haruna Abubakar who murdered and shredded the body of his work colleague to pieces.
Reports attest that the deceased was a guard at a farm in Ibeju-Lekki where Abubakar worked as a herdsman. The deceased had an altercation with the murder suspect and this in turn led to a fight.Abubakar was said to have mauled the deceased with a dagger before proceeding to cut him up in pieces and stuff the parts into a bag where he later dumped in a bush. He later led the police to the site where he had disposed of the body parts after he was arrested following a missing person case filed by the brother of the deceased since his brother never returned home from work.According to the Command’s spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmus, the incident occurred on the 3rd of December.Abubakar confessed to the crime following his arrest and he led the police to the site of dismemberment.The Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni has mandated that the case be transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence, Panti for further investigation and prosecution.Discover more from NewsBreakers
