In 2013 an investigation was ordered due to suspicion that his death was ordered by the military regime. Three other defendants with ties to Rancho Feeding Corp. were indicted last week for conspiring to distribute the meat. On Feb 18, 2015, four managers pleaded guilty to the charges.
