Mourinho bets on United’s victory in Europa League final

If media report is anything to go by, then Jose Mourinho might be held bound to his bet on the club’s season on the fallout of Wednesday’s Europa League final against Ajax in Stockholm.Positioned outside the top four on the Premiership table, United has been ruled out of Champions League next season, but they could return to European competition if they beat Ajax.Mourinho has made his intention clear to make an impact at the Championship by resting key players in spite of injury worries, which limits the options he had.“It was not a gamble.
