New CAN President Emerges

A new President for the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has emerged.He is Rev Supo Ayokunle, President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention (NBC). He defeated Elder Joseph Otubu of the Motailatu Church Cherubim and Seraphim Movement (MCCSW) in the just concluded Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) election held today.The election was concluded and the result announced at about 2:30pm by the out-going president, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor in the Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abuja.Rev Ayokunle polled 54 votes while Elder Joseph Otubu got 28 votes.
