New Ebola Case Confirmed in Sierra Leone – WHO

The World Health Organisation (WHO), has confirmed a new case of ebola virus in Sierra Leone. According to WHO spokesperson, Tarik Jasarevic, there is a new confirmed case, the new case was the aunt of 22-year-old student, Marie Jalloh, who was determined to have died of the virus on January 12. The 38-year-old woman is a primary caregiver during the young woman’s illness. She had developed symptoms of the deadly virus on Wednesday while she was being monitored at a quarantine facility. The patient is being treated now.
