Nigeria Air Force Redeploy Several Officers to New Locations of Office

The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) said it had redeployed 67 senior officers, composed of 30 Air vice Marshals, 17 Air Commodores, 10 Group Captains, 7 Wing Cdrs. and 3 Sqn. Leaders.

In a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Group Capt. Ayodele Famuyiwa to journalists in Abuja, he said the redeployment was a result of the decoration of senior officers recently promoted to the ranks of AVMs and Air Commodores.The statement also said that noteworthy people affected by the new posting include: AVM Muhammadu Muhammed, who is the newly appointed Air Secretary, AVM Saleh Shinkafi appointed as the pioneer Chief of Medical Services, AVMs Mohammad Muhammad and Sambo Usman appointed as Chief of Administration and Chief of Logistics and Communication respectively.The new posting has also brought about leadership changes at the Command level with several officers given new locations of transferral.The statement explained that the recent redeployment though a routine exercise was aimed at ensuring that NAF was effectively manned for operational efficiency and effectiveness.According to the statement, the postings are however to take full effect from December 22nd, 2016.
