The beautiful town of Oguta in Imo state is set to hold its maiden edition of the Lake City Film Festival. The town which is on the east bank of Oguta Lake in Imo is a site of tourist attraction. The festival is slated to hold between December 16th and 18th with over 50 movies to be screened at the event.
The initiator of this event, Ekine Stronghold, a script writer and content provider believes hosting the festival in a town such as Oguta would not only boost tourism potentials but also enable film makers to infuse themes of culture, art and heritage in their productions. Other members of the board include Yinka Ogun, Kathy Kasic and Bond Emeruwa.The gala night of the event would award films in various categories such as Art, History, Tourism and Environment.Discover more from NewsBreakers
