Ex-Aide to former President Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has advised Nigerians to put their differences aside ahead of the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protest in order to achieve the desired goal.
Omokri who was a vocal supporter of the #EndSARS protests in October called for teamwork to ensure the success of the upcoming protest against the reopening of the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos State on February 13.
Reno Omokri tweeted, “Vice President @ProfOsinbajo promised justice for victims of the #LekkiMassacre of Peaceful and Unarmed #EndSARS Protesters. Is it by making Buratai an ambassador that Osinbajo intends to give them justice? No justice, no Lekki Toll Gate reopening. Support #OccupyLekkiTollGate.”
He added, “Only teamwork can make #OccupyLekkiTollGate work. Let us put our differences aside. We must be emotionally mature enough to work with those who dislike us, to attain a goal that is good for Nigeria. Let us be driven by our love for Nigeria and not our political differences.”
