Ousted Burkina Faso Leader to be Arrested on Murder Charge

An international arrest warrant, has been issued against the ousted Burkina Faso leader, Blaise Compaore, over his alleged role in the murder of late President Thomas Sankara in 1987.Compaore, who is currently on exile in Ivory Coast, will answer questions to allegations of attack and assassination.Compaore was sacked from office by a popular uprising in October 2014 after ruling Burkina Faso for 27 years.The late Sankara was on October 15, 1987, murdered in a coup which resulted in Compaore assuming power.
