ne of the companies that provided electronic campaign services during the electioneering process, Silicon Concepts Limited, has dragged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and two others before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.The firm is specifically demanding a total sum of N70 million as balance of payment for the services it rendered to the party’s Presidential Campaign Organisation (PCO).Defendants in the suit initiated by the plaintiff in the move to get back the said sum are; Dr Ahmadu Alli and Senator Nenadi Esther Usman.They were dragged before the court in their capacity as the Director-General, PDP presidential campaign organization and Director, Finance, of the organisation respectively.Silicon Concepts Limited is also praying the court for leave that Dr Tony Akabuno, a technical partner and consultant to the company be listed as witness against the defendants during the trial of the case.But the defendants, in their statement of defence, refuted the plaintiff’s claim, with an addition that it never owed the N70 million demanded, and that it never executed the contract awarded it in any way.
