Police recovers decapitated human heads in Rivers state

The head of a middle-aged man simply named, Ebube who was kidnapped and later killed by suspected assassins has been found in a pit at Isiokpo community in Ikwerre Local Government area of Rivers state.According to DAILY POST, it was gathered that some suspects who were arrested by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in a robbery attack confessed to have slain Ebube after kidnapping him at his hometown in Isiokpo.A senior police officer attached to SARS disclosed that the hoodlums led the team to their camp where over four decapitated heads including that of Ebube were found.Confirming the incident in a telephone interview, the wife of late Ebube said arrangements were being made to deposit the head of her late husband in the mortuary for the burial rites to begin.“”ŽThe Police people took me to where I saw some human heads and I was able to identify my husband’s head. I wanted to take it but they refused to give it to me.“I need to take my husband’s head so we can go and start preparing for the burial,” she said.You will recall that Ebube who was one of the leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Isiokpo community who was assassinated in the build-up to the March 19 rerun election in the state after he allegedly refused to defect from his party.
