Police Yet to Get Arrest Warrant against Aluko

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Solomon Arase, has revealed that the police had not yet received the warrant of arrest made against the troubled former secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, Dr. Tope Aluko, saying necessary actions would be taken when the arrest warrant is received. It would be recalled that an Ekiti State Chief Magistrate Court had issued a warrant of arrest against Aluko, sequel to a Motion on Notice by the state government over the interview he granted where he disclosed how the Ekiti governorship election was allegedly rigged to favour Governor Ayodele Fayose.
