President Hollande Confirms the Crash of EgyptAir

The EgyptAir flight that was reported missing while flying from Paris to Cairo has been confirmed to have crashed. This confirmation was made by the President of France Francois Hollande. Airbus A320 was said to have carried 56 people on board disappeared from radar at 02:30 Cairo time (00:30 GMT), immediately after leaving Greek airspace. Meanwhile Greece’s minister of defence revealed that Flight MS804 made “sharp turns” and dived before dropping off the radar. Search is currently on in the seas south of the Greek island of Karpathos to know if the was where the flight crashed.The armed forces of Egypt and Greece are involved in the effort, and France has offered to send boats and planes.President Hollande said he has open mind about the cause of the crash. “We will draw conclusions when we have the truth about what happened,” he said. “Whether it was an accident, or whether it was ”“ and it’s something that is on our minds ”“ terrorism.”
