Pro-Biafra Protests, Threat to National Unity

Newly appointed Defence Minister, retired General Mohammed Dan- Ali, on Saturday raised the alarm that the ongoing stream of pro-Biafra protests in some parts of the South-Eastern Nigeria is capable of sky rocketing, and remains a threat to national unity.According to the defence minister, “Nigeria is currently facing many indices of destabilisation.“The Federal Government, in collaboration with stakeholders, should brainstorm and come up with a roadmap in order to abort any processes that may destabilize the nation.”
