Rivers Gubernatorial Poll: Court of Appeal Reserves Judgment

The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division has reserved judgement in the appeal initiated by the ousted governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.It would be recalled that Wike challenged the decision of the state’s governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja which had earlier nullified his election as governor of the state.The Appellate Court arrived at the decision after parties in the suit adopted their written addresses.In his Notice of Appeal filed on November 3, 2015, the troubled governor asked the Court of Appeal to set aside the judgement of the Tribunal which removed him from office.
