The Justice Mashood Oredola led Court of Appeal has upheld the election of Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio as a Senator representing Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District. The appellate court threw out the appeal instituted by the All”Ž ”ŽProgressives Congress (APC) candidate in the Senatorial District, Chief Inibehe Okori. It would be recalled that Chief Okori filed an appeal after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Akpabio winner ”Žof the March 28 senatorial election.
